Was up there this past weekend, still quite a bit of snow right up to swan hills. Not enough for the sled yet though.

Yup, loud as hell. Definitely not doing any still-hunting. I wish it would get up above zero for a few days to melt this stuff off so we can start over.

Still crunchy as of Saturday evening. Hopefully the 9 and 10 degree days over the next few will soften it/melt it and start over for next week

Yep the snow is definatly hard a crunchy up here, But it sure was nice in the tree stand on friday morning! I heard the animals from miles away! Saw a moose and a few does.
I watched the does slowly come towards me for about 45 min and then the mother doe caught wind of something and took off. I had used a buck bomb (doe estrous) before climbing in to my stand. Do you think the doe was spooked by the buck bomb or do you think she caught a wiff of me?
