Any open water around Calgary?

Wished I'da had the camera yesterday.:lol: Slack slough, just south of Red Deer, was frozen, except for a bit in the middle, which was just packed solid with ducks. Innis and Barrie lakes are frozen solid, as are all the smaller sloghs, around here.

everything is prety much rock solid jamie except for chestemer and egale, they are being used as roosts, and the river, which might be money right now

one other thing jamie will work, find a field where they are feeding close to a pond, then make ur own roost by cutting a hole in the ice, and fill it with decoys and watch them storm in i bet bear would have fun. its alot of work but will pay off in the end. just as long as u know they are in the area they will come to that open water
