Well, looks like its time ot find another pup. After meeting the guys at the Edmonton Spring Training Day and everyone else in Wessex for the pre seaon shoot figured someone could point me to an Alberta breeder for GSP's .

BRIAN AND KATE DOWSON in Calgary have some nice GSP's. I don't know if they are planning a litter, but it would be worth a call. Their dogs do very well in the ring and in the field.

My kid has been talking to Firepoint kennels about GSP for this spring.
he's decided that he doesn't need a lab because we hunt fields for our geese and ducks mostly, and he likes the way they work for pheasants and ruffies.

Wow that pup has the exact same markings as my dog. Mine is from North Dakota.

Theres a guy in Iowa that puts out tremendous dogs. Its all about Bloodlines, Bloodlines, Bloodlines! I got my Pup from him, she's only 13 months old and in her first hunting year, but she's very, very, impressive with the birds to say the least. Yesterday she put a couple expirienced Labs to absolute shame! This guy has a couple litters on the ground right now. And this is a real good time to get a Pup, then its old enough to hunt for you next fall. PM me if interested and I'll give you his contact info.
