out of province hunter?

I have a friend from B.C. who is a avid hunter, just wondering what he would need to hunt big game here in Alberta, Does he need to have a guide or can he hunt with me? Can he apply for draws Etc.

You have to obtain a Hunter Host card which allows him to hunt with you and I think he can buy most general tags and hunt in whatever WMU}s they apply. Piker

Check the regs. There are some animals they can hunt with a hunter host and some you can't. I know deer isn't a problem.

It is real easy. I have my dad out from ontario every year just make sure he gets a win card before he comes.

Yup, it's easy. I've got a buddy here right now that drew a bull elk tag and I'm hosting him. Only non-residents, not non-resident aliens can apply for draws but you can hunter host both. Lots of info in regs and draw booklet.
