View Full Version : Moose vs My wife's van tonight

Very very thankful that my wife had an angel with her this evening when a damn cow moose decided to cross the road the exact time she was going by. She was taking our son out to a friends place north of Killam. Very glad she asked me to come home early from hunting tonight because she would have had the two younger kids with her also.....will be counting blessings tonight..

will post some pics tomorrow

Glad she is alright. Damn moose collisions can be so dangerous. My uncle Lee lives north of Killam as well and there is a ton of moose there. Almost too many.

X2. I work quite a bit in the Killam / Viking / Sedgwick area and there is definitely no shortage of moose out there.

Great to hear that everyone is ok. Hitting a moose isn't fun. I had two friends hit a moose in NB over the summer. The only thing that saved his life was that he was laying down in the passanger seat. After 4 months and 5 operations everything is back to normal. Again great that no one was hurt.

Those collisions with moose can be nasty, glad to hear your family is ok.

Glad that everyone is alright. Extremely lucky.

One of my wife's co-workers hit a moose near Drayton Valley a number of years ago. He died at the scene.
