Favourite Wild Meat Dish

My favorite wild meat dish so far as been some rib eye steaks I did. I had a ribeye oast, injected some marinade into it, lightly covered it in steak spice wrapped it tightly in saran wrap and left it in the fridge overnight. I had planned to leave it as a roast and roast it on the bbq. but plans changed so i steaked it up and grilled with a bit more steak spice, finished it off with a bit of garlic butter. They were fork tender and had a very lightly wild taste, they were delicious. sometimes simple is best!!

I like the way the wife does up Ruffed grouse breasts on a wild rice bed.:)

Nothing bets a roughed grouse covered in butter and all spiced up wrapped in tin foil and cooked in a camp fire!
