Shore fishing near Calgary

Girl and I are interesting in going somewhere near to Calgary for some fishing from the shore. Was thinking about hitting Chain lakes, and wondering if anyone has other suggestions. Would like to be able to catch fish to try and get her a bit more interesting in fishing.:)

If your doin the ole bobber and bait id try Dewitts Pond, Sibbald Pond or Lake or Chain lakes, lots of trout and easy to catch and all relatively close to town.

Hey if yer interested i have a 4 man inflatble i've been wanting to break in, but i'm sure you're thinking of going on the weeknd and thats already passed..lol....I wanna get my kid out on the water as much as a can this week since i have it off...only problem is,...waiting for my dad's piece of crap truck to be fixed..lol
