Holy crap you just dated yourself there!

Tape drives were before my time...oldest I've ever used were the old Commodore C64's we had in school, with the floppy disks that were still floppy :o

In the mid-late 70's I was dating a girl who's father bought the first computer I had ever seen. It was a Radio Shack TRS 80 and it had that cassette player for a drive set-up. It came out 1977. The Commodore Vic 20 came out in '81.

Gawd I feel old. It doesn't seem that long ago to me that I recall getting my Mac Powerbook upgraded with an amazing huge new 40 Megabyte hard drive. Heck, my first couple jobs after university I had an electric typewriter and a lot of carbon paper. E-mail? What's that?

Lol, I remember having a pc with a 240 MB HDD. We had to compress it because my programs took it all up. We got that baby up to 400 MB with compression. Packard Bell, that was in '94, I believe. Windows 3.11, DOS, it was amazing ... back then.
