does anyone know where i can get a jackalope for my nephew for Christmas.prefer to buy local but cant find anyone in Edmonton that has one.any info would be appreciated,thanks.

Cabellas sell them. Doubt that you will find a better price around. They sell the doe and the buck (antlered and not). I think they were around $60. Their catalog is online.

There's an open season for them in Bavaria, Sept-Oct, called FallEx.
I bagged a monster back in '84'. Although he's only a 'spike lope', he's got a fox tail and hawk wings...a true trophy. Even listed in SCI!!

Great Hunt..or maybe it was just the copious beer consumption at the Hoffbrahause.

Either way, he's still sitting in my Hunten room after all these yrs.

Grandfather had everybody in Ontario believing they were real before I was born. Actually got listed as a PROTECTED SPECIES. Got NEW'S clippings and everything on it.
