Little Bow Campground closing...

Has anyone got a link to details on the irrigation district raising Travers Reservoir water levels? From what I have hear (unsubstantiated) they are closing all or part of the Campground because of it. Would be a shame to lose a camping spot although it may make travers even bigger and better. I thought I'd see it anyone has details of the project and timing.

I believe they are raising the level of the little bow reserviour by directly connecting it to travers. I think it is the little bow provincial recreation area that will be affected not little bow provincial park.

Little Bow will be raised 10' to match the level of Travers. There will only be a culvert that separates the 2 and it will not be passable by boat. This way the 2 reservoirs will still be separate entities. They will be rebuilding the campground with better facilities but this is a low priority. This was the comments made to me when I talked to a planner with the Southern Irrigation District.
