I'm going to peanut lake this Wednesday for rainbows and wanted to know if any of you had any luck so far. I don't usually fish for rainbows so I'll probably just toss some powerbait on a deadly dick or a swedish pimple.

do you know a good spot to set up on this lake? any advice will be appreciated. i hear there are some big ones in there!

also, does anybody have a good idea for what i should put on my tip up? i have no idea, as i usually just rig it for pike.

if i get a big one ill post some pics.

I suggest you try Dolberg which is another 40 minutes from peanut. I stopped by the peanut lake in the summer time and there was lots of dead minnows floating in the shallows. I few people commented that they have never seen that low.
Good Luck fishin there :D ;)

Trout...

Start very shallow early and move out deeper as the morning progresses then back in as it gets dark. Drill holes every 5 to 10 meters or as the bottom dictates so as to work every depth, best of luck.
