Does anybody have any experience with the Hummingbird Ice-35 or 55 Portable Flasher? I'm thinking about purchasing one myself, but would like to know if it is in fact worth buying. Thanks!

I have a flasher and can't go ice fishing with out it. Best thing you can buy for the hard water in my opinion!

Marcum has a real good line up of flashers. Hummingbird seems to have a pretty good product as well, stay away from vexilar/nature vision though. IMO

I have a vexilar FL 20 and it is an exceptional piece of equipment, really like it and it helps me find and catch more fish.

I have an ice 55. Love it.

I have a ICE-55 and I feel blind when I don't have it with me now. If anything it gives you immediate insight on the depth of the water you are at and if there's anything suspended or moving through a certain depth.

The nice think I like about the ICE-55 is how easy it was to use. Never used the others to compare but others with the Marcum or Vexiliar say good things too. All three do the job well that they are designed to do IMHO.
