Who else got skunked at CVR?

It was nice to see a few folks out at CVR today its just too bad the fish didnt show up. For the first time in 6 outings at CVR we were skunked. Surprised at the 20 degree temp difference from CVR to Cgy. Coooold

Anyone have any luck at CVR today or anywhere else in Southern AB?

People on this board have been limiting out on Burbot everytime
they go to CVR. The fishery is starting to suffer.

I was surprised we didnt hit the burbs. That seemed to be a given last year. We dont keep anything we catch unless it is too injured to release and with a non-barb hook that shoudnt be too often.

We Ice Fish for the outing and the sport. I can go to Safeway to buy dinner and leave the sport fish for the sportsmen/women.

Each to their own. Whatever the reason have fun.
