Well Gang the time has come and the packing is done
It is time to wish one and all a happy New Year!!!

We are in the final preperation stages for the 2010 Bison Hunt
Travel time is set for an 0500 hrs departure Dec 29th and an ETA in
High Level of 18:00 hrs Dec 29th we will scout the 30th and 31st and hope
for the hunt to end early on the 1ST Happy New Year so to speak :D
If not well then we will Pray for connection on the second as that is the time we have to complete the hunt. I will be passing on intel to Buffhunter on the 3rd as he prepares to arrive on the 4th this hopefully will include some valuable GPS coordinates.

If we were to get the Draw next year than a youth from this forum would be the lucky recipient of the Partner Licence.

As far as the draw being fixed if one of us got it next year then some guys on the forum might want to fix us:scared:

Honest promise if we ever get another it would be a gift to a kid provided there is a partner tag available which I believe there is for youth.

Thanks for the well wishes and I promise to try my best to pass on the learnings and intell to Buffhunter and others just as Setterman did for me.

P.S. I still believe it should be a once in a life time draw!!!

Looks like your well prepared for your hunt. Are you hoteling it or staying in the wall tent like the other guys did last year and including the hot Tub ??

Cant wait to hear all about it when you get back and lets hope the temps outside make it a more enjoyable hunt.

Good Luck Back at you maybe we will see you there I thought about a winch but went with a wack of rope, same as last year! Bring em back whole but get that Hide off it will hold heat like nothing you have ever seen unless you've hunted Musk ox or something :D the meat will pay the price. JMHO

Godspeed Donny and best of luck to you and Dajimmer. My crew and I are getting pumped, all the Xmas discussion centered around the Tatonka and whether or not my not so small brother-in-law will drop the videocamera and run at the slightest movement from the buffs tail or whether he will stand his ground and trust his rock soilid sniper with the .300 win mag. We will find out soon! Thanks again for all the info. and advice, hope you knock a big bull down with that bow.

I'm taking pretty much what Donny is plus a generator, 500 sled, 2 trucks, enclosed trailer and 3 suckers for the hard work. I figured do it right and pay the bank later!

Can't wait, let's get er going! With luck be back the 8th with a booner!

Hey Honda :wave: .....cut some extra firewood for weekend and buy a couple extra pints my friend.....she's gonna be a cold weekend. I'm planning on getting wasted on New Years and not coming to until Tues....they're calling for -40 and colder all weekend...plus some stinkin wind :mad3:

I know it was asked before, (but i cant find the old 2008/2009 buffalo thread) is there a place to get diesel fuel in Zama?.
