perch in isle lake

hi, just signed up to this forum. sounds like a lot of good people and advice around here. does anyone fish isle lake. i have fished there a few times . i have caught a lot of walleye there in the summer. it is nice lake to catch and release them. i was out there on dec 27 and fishing for perch on the east side of the lake. we were catching jack like no tommorrow,but no perch. has anyone fished for perch there, where is a good spot ? any advice would be nice. thanks

They used to hang out by that island NW of the entry at Silver Sands - you'd always see a little town of locals there anyway. I've heard that the perching there has dropped off in the last year or two.

How much ice was on Isle when you went there?

we were out about 60 feet and the ice was around 24 inches thick. the there was 4 trucks near the south side of the island. i will have to check it out.

60 feet from shore on the east side of the lake by camp he ho ha. this whole area is weedy
