Myself , iliketrout and Sandalius are going down and hit Chin on tomorrow "wends" , I think we are meeting Wayne down there. Any information I can get would help a lot , as I have never fished it before. But understand there are some BIG fish in there.

I'll check and let you know.

As far as some spots, havent been there much but...the bay on the west side campground is supposed to be good, or try some of the cliff face drops offs going east, or all the way to the same on the sand flats. Have no idea where'd they be in the winter though myself.

Ive seen some pretty big pike heads around that bay at the group campground, I have a feeling the big pike might still be in that area. PM me what time you guys plan on getting down there and I will meet you. there or in Taber, they have a Tims for you coffee junkies

Chin has been very slow this year out the gates. The best luck I've had has been down at the west end along the dam dividing Chin/ Stafford. Have been there once this year (2 weeks ago ) not even a bite, ice is 11" and should be over 12" by now. Buddys have been there also and has been slow, 1 -8lb so far this season and bites few and far between. Good cribbage games so far though!

We ain't going to do the 3 hr drive with a fishing report like that. Guess we have changed the location. Going to go down to Clear be on the ice by 9AM. If its slow at least we have other options real close by , prob end the day with a evening fish on PCR. Will be in iliketrouts 6 man Frabil headquarters if anyone is in the area.

Good luck tomorrow, we'll be out and about for trout and coyotes!

I'd be good for Thursday (actually better for me than tomorrow). Either Newell or Spray. Never been to Newell so I wouldn't be much help there.

if you are into trout, there are some pretty decent ones in Enchant. I catch at least one every time I go, usually 10 or so inches, sometimes much bigger.
