Is that the Bruce Lake that is east on Hwy 566 (east of BPS)?

Have heard about it and have been wondering if I have the correct lake in mind?

I tried Bruce lake last year. When I drilled the hole, the stench from the water drove us off the ice. As well, there were so many shrimp that I couldn't imagine the fish taking anything we offered them. Maybe it's not so bad earlier in the season though.

Been to Bruce Lake once, about 5 years ago. I remember it being shallow and weedy. We did not move around much as the ice was fairly skinny then. I don't remember any bad smell but I remember a bunch of nice pike. Haven't heard much about it since then. If anyone goes it would be good hear how you made out.

Bruce lake is no good for fishing anymore . due to the lack of rain and run off the lake froze clowdy. lots more weeds than last year. I have trided 5 times. no luck yet this year. have moved all over the lake
