I am planning on going to chestermere with my nephew and his dad tommorow. Was wondering how you access the south end of the lake? He has to be back early, so it was the closest for both of us.

This is where I park and get on the lake. Good luck out there.

How is the fishing out here? This was not my first choice, but I am hoping we catch a few. Any advice?

I have put another spot on the map for where I go. I have only fished out there a few times but had success every time. I have never had anything to any size out there but they have always been there in numbers. Just a jig tipped with a smelt has been all we have used. I have found that fishing the whole column of water works well. The pike I have got out there have been from right down on the bottom to within a foot under the ice. This combined with a tip up outside the shack has never let me down on this particular body of water.

Ive been debating on heading out to Chestermere too. See what the morning brings. I hear theres been some Pike caught on the south end. Head East out of Forest Lawn and when you get over the bridge at Chestermere turn right and follow the road were the directions I was given by a few people.

Work then fish or fish then work??? Decisions Decisions.

GOOD LUCK
