Getting on and off is pretty easy but you're pretty much restricted to fishing the east shoreline due to the unique ice conditions (you'll have to see it for yourself)... 30 inches of ice in some spots. Fortuneately, there's still some fish to be caught.

thanks for the info! Never fished calling in winter, tried a few weeks ago and basically gave up not knowing the eastern shore...only ever fished the western side from my boat, and that was only once...again thanks!

Spend some time moving around the area until you get on top of fish. It seems to me the walleye and burbs are moving together there so if you tag one, there's probably some of the other around too.

Pike are fairly random
