Ours wore out last year on chain lakes.... Does anyone have one or know of a good place to pick one up???

That auger of yours is older than Christ himself, good luck finding parts, i think they actually used steel for parts back then.

LOL, yeah I don't know about that guy who broke it, but its an easy fix if I can find the part...

Maybe ask a local machine shop for a price to make a new one.

Thanks Dodger, I thought about looking into that, but I know how pricey a little custom part like that can be to machine..

Quotes are free, plus by the time you find your part it will probably be in the U.S so you will have shipping, exchange, time waiting for the part. The gear I ordered for my Strikemaster was $62.00/CDN by the time it arrived. Remember I use to order pre season because my auger blew 2 of these a winter. The first time it happened I was out 3 weeks before the part arrived. Plus the new gears are cast metal ( cheap junk ) and a machine shop will be steel.

Buck Krazy, what part of the province are you in. If your in the Calgary area I know a few machinist that may cut you a break.
