Just wondering how the lakes are doing with this chinook. Is all that snow melted on top making it a slippery mess?Thinking of heading out tomorrow, just wodering if it worth it.

Lot of frozen floodwater is melting on lakes in proximity of Edmonton. It's pretty messy and the frozen floodwater is getting soft.. which means tires punching through. Be careful out there.

Plus with the screwy pressure rises fishing might be slow, although depends what for fishing for.

Yes with the warm weather we have to be careful out there...

Pigeon lake was sloppy on Sunday near the shore and some spots further out with flood water.

Was at CV Monday and lots of melting. Would suggest rubber boots if you want to keep your feet warm and dry. Lots of water on top but still 27" underneath so not to worry about going through. Wet and xold feet make for not a fun day....
