hey everyone, lets see how the ice fishing has been around alberta. Post pics and storys, lets see some of those lunkers!

Here is some Brookies a friend and I caught the other day

Always loved the look of those fish with the color like that. Where do you go to get some of those. Always wanted to try it once or twice. Anywhere close to Edmonton or are most spots down south in the mountain areas?

Which one do you think hasn't spawned yet? The top 5 are males and the bottom 2 are females all of which went through the spawn back in nov/dec. Out of all the ones I cleaned none had eggs.

A few brookies Out cast and I caught in Lethbridge. Released all fish, 29 brookies and 1 pike. Best day of fishing for a few years!

For those of you catching brookies. Where would a guy go fishing for them and what do you use? Do they put up much of a fight?
