Looking to do some fishing on Monday. Have fished pike for years, but havnt caught whitefish or perch since I was a kid. Am looking for a lake within an hour or so of the city, and a lake I can hopefully fill my freezer with. Apparently pigeon whites are biting, and have heard there are some decent perch in Mink. Have had great pike fishing at Mink in the past, so I wouldnt be surprised. Have also heard Isle was good for Perch, with some decent pike in there as well. Will be walking on, so I dont plan on moving a ton once Im out, unless its a small lake like Mink. Any opinions? Also, how many FOW average should a guy be looking for, targeting perch or whitefish, and what type of structure?

Devil's can be good for perch. But it's pretty much hit and miss most of the time. Alberta Beach is good for both whites and perch but haven't made it out that way this year yet so couldn't tell you how the fishing is.

Excellent. Any places off AB beach you'd start from? How deep should I be looking for?

You should probably see lots of people right off or just north of the pier. I'd look for perch anywhere from 15-25 fow.
