Anyone else try Newell on the weekend? We tried a new spot (not that we ice fish there much, mostly spring and fall). Caught two Pike, both 28"-29". Missed a third. Windy on Sunday, but the sun was out so, not to bad over all. Other guys we saw caught nothing and left before we did. As I said, new spot, so I didn't have to high of hopes. I know this spot is better in the spring, but I've seen pictures of fish friends caught there in the winter and had to try it.
