Was thinking of taking a trip to enchant on Sunday with my son, any reports lately, what depth do i start for some perch?

havent been out there since before christmas but we fished in about 6-8 foot of water coulnt keep them off just to warn u there r tons of little ones out there but should be fun for u and ur son

pretty much anywhere you drill a hole. Ive had better luck within 30 feet of shore or so, just because you can watch them bite. Still the odd trout in there too.

had lots of luck with Gulp maggots in there, also prince nymphs with or without the maggot on it. if you get hungry, the chinese restaurant in town doesnt look like much but the food is good and the portions big.

Fishing is slow on Newell. Anyone able to provide directions to Enchant Pond from Newell/Brooks?

head south on 36 past scandia, about 10-15k past turn west on 526 till the town of enchant

pond is on the left, by the golf course. you can drive on from the beach or walk from the ring road. Good Chinese food at Yan Yans in town too :D
