Hey guys, I'm planning a trip to cadomin For this fall and I am just wondering the details on where you can or can't hunt. Also I heard for elk it's 6 point or better? Is this bow or rifle. And also I heard big horn are general here???any help appreciated thanks

Get a map with GPS corrdinates on it from the Mine or F&W. Go do some summer prescout to get a feel for the different areas and where the animals hang-out and come on and off the mine. Yes sheep is on a "general" trophy sheep tag in the reg season.

Learn how to shoot in the wind. Be in great shape if you do not have horses. Get maps of the mine.

Be ready for crowds. The number of hunters out there the past few falls is nothing short of incredible. More and more every year, make sure you have the means to get way off the road as that will improve your chances substantially. Lots of general tag holders, lots of draw tag hunters (mulies, non-trophy sheep) and lots of outfitter tags. Maps available from the mine, and on their webpage.
Also, be bear aware in that area, i would recommend carrying bear spray especially if bow hunting. I was charged while riding a quad right by town this fall and encountered 3 or 4 other bears (grizzlies) which did not run away like they're supposed to. Many other guys i talked to in the area had similar experiences, not isolated events so be careful.
