I measured 20 inches of ice as of last weekend! Fishing is very slow though.I was at the provincial park side.

Careful though - that ice isn't consistent. I was there for a bit on Wednesday morning - both Grandview area and Mulhurst... lots of ice in some spots.. only 10 inches with some frozen flood on top in others.

I wouldn't go exploring if I was you.. stick to where others have gone if you're driving on.

there was quite a bit of melt off on top last week ...almost looked like a swimming pool but the ice underneath was still fairly thick around mulhurst and towards the indian reserve... im quite positive its safe but pls dont quote me on that lol... im sure ull see a bunch of trucks out there tho

I was out this morning. All the slush has frozen quite solid. There were a few vehicles on the lake...the ice was about 16" thick. So, the ice is now safe for vehicles (as compared to two weeks ago when I buried my skidoo in the slush). But, the fishing was terrible...the slowest in five weeks. Wish you better luck than I had.
