anybody have any info on utikima. Thinking about heading there in the next week or so. had no luck at christmas but was wondering if anyone else has been out there recently.

I have been to Utikuma twice this year. The fishing is good catching walleye and pike . Going on at km 86. Best bite in morning and sunset ,using jigs and minnows in 8 ft of water.

i was catching walleye on the far side of the island with jigs and minnows aswell. gold jig heads worked best and i was in 12-15 feet of water. biggest walleye was probably 4 pounds, didnt measure it and the biggest pike wasnt that big at all- maybe six. but i wasnt pike fishing so maybe youll have better luck.

i saw some poachers over there with a garbage bag full of walleye last time i went. GRRR!

My best luck there was a 2-3 inch red devel no bait early morning and evening. rest of the time snowmobile.

I Fished it about 2 weeks ago, And it was all really slow, except for the pike fishing.
I had better luck last winter with perch walleye and whitefish. Mind you i was in shallow and wasnt fishing for pike. although pulled a few up,

i notived it heated up at around 4 o'clock in april...also the perch were fairly shallow
