Grassy Lake Fishing???

Just wondering if anyone has been in the past few days out to Grassy and how the fishing is?? wouldn't mind taking my little one out there tomorrow for her first ice fishing adventure.

I usually fish by the boat launch or out in front of the house just west of the launch but lately it has been very slow there. We hit up the west end kind of by the spill way last weekend and seen alot more fish but not a whole lot of biters.

Fished the west end last Wed. Awesome day, caught 15 Perch, all large (biggest was 1.5lbs) in aprox 30mins, using the Marmish system, as they are very light biters. West end road is rutted so need a truck or 4x4 to reach the lake.

How is the ice there? Can you safely drive on it?

Was out there today, plenty of ice and access to the boat launch and onto the ice is good.
