So I'm bored and I'm in the basement cleaning out the tackle box and double checking that my barbs are flattened real good ( the other thread got me thinking to double check ). Then I remember that I threw my old fishfinder under the bench to collect some dust and I thought " why not hook it up to my Aqua-View " so I hooked it up to the battery of my Aqua-View and fire it up. Now the gears are turning and I figure why not build a platform that holds the fishfinder and camera and battery all side by side. So that is in the plans over the next week or so.
The question is should I use the flasher on the fishfinder or the regular screen? I turned the ping speed to max and the scroll speed to max. I know the flasher is nothing like the ice units but it should show me if a fish is in the area and at what depth? Any thoughts on what screen you would use!
