Just thought I'd post a couple of fishing pics from a trip or two.
This ones from the banks of Swan Lake. I love fishing for trout there.

I don't pull alot of fish out of Swan but when I do they're usually decent ones. Here's a Pike I yanked out of there last season.

Awesome post man! Those are some quality fish from both lakes. By Swan, are you referring to the one in the Rocky area? Nice brown!

I almost thought rainbow myself at first glance, however, notice the spots on the pics of the trout. Those are definately browns. Lighter colored browns but browns nonetheless.

Hey Jigger, I usually use a holographic tear drop spoon by Blue Fox. I've always had success with them when going for Trout and Walleyes....although Swan doesn't have any Wally's that I've ever seen. Its a pretty deep lake so you need to run a lot of line and go deep. Good luck :)

Nice fish Goonbag,
I've never been to Swan Lake. Is a 17ft Lund too big for that lake? Do they have a good boat launch?
Thanks for the info. :)

Hey Buckwheat, Swanny is a pretty small lake but I've seen a few 17 footers on it before. I think there's a speed limit on the lake, too so its all pretty slow moving traffic. The boat launch is fine, you wouldn't have any problems launching from there. Hope this helps...good luck.
