Was anyone out at wabamun today? How us the ice?

Was there last Monday, fished about 400m SE of the marina. Fishing was pretty good, and managed to land 4 nice pike in a couple of hours of fishing. I made sure to stay at least 200m away from the open water, and found the ice to be about 8" think. Some guys were driving on it, but I walked on. Hope this helps!

yep dave walked on off the main dock in wab... wich is what any smart fella does... the west side of the lake u can drive on pretty much all over... i havent fished it for about a month but i have many freinds that fish it daily and there is lots of ice ... if ur not familiar with the lake just stay on the paths... ull be fine!!!!
