Hey,

Depending on where you are coming from,
Head south on 50th street from Edmonton, go south through Beaumont until you reach secondary hiway 625 head west (right at lights) and then take your first left.

Or follow this link here and you will get an idea of where it is.

http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=Beaumont,+AB&daddr=6024+38+Ave&geocode=Fd0XLgMdb2s9-SnhkO3NwRygUzHFHVGccsDFcw%3BFff4LQMdkTg9-Sn7isAb1BygUzGmAS6hbazaPw&gl=ca&hl=en&mra=ls&sll=53.345223,-113.421822&sspn=0.022392,0.055189&ie=UTF8&ll=53.34512,-113.421822&spn=0.022392,0.055189&t=h&z=14

As for what works.. try typical trout baits.
Worms, powerbait, corn never hurts to bring a few different choices.

Cheers.

Worked for Arthur Voice as a Buggy Skinner, digging that hole in the ground back in the 80's . Didn't know they still stocked it. Kind of a neat little pond!

It's been awesome to me all winter since ice was 4" thick. I've been there more than anyone I'm sure in all types of weather. Been skunked 3 times out of about 25 times so far. I also live a ways away. It hasn't winterkilled either but has been slow lately. The ice is getting very thick though. Almost 2 ft in places. Best to date this winter has been 13.5". I've never fished it in the summer though. This is my favorite place. Can't wait for summer

I heard the ice conditions there are bad right now... ??? has anyone been out there in the past week or so ??

I was on the 15th, and the 18th. Only got one but had bites. It was frigin too cold to stay much longer than an hour and a half. Sometimes I take my tent so I can see down the hole but don't do near as good usually for some reason. So if possible I just go without. This year was my first hardwater season and at Beaumont. I see some think it's a waste of time but it's almost perfect for me, especially with a times closer than anything else. It has been slow but they r still biting so..

Its deep too. I just wish I knew more about it other than north end is the deep end. My 4 yr old son has been out there with me in -20 and 45km/h wind gusts. Almost lost my new tent to the wind that day. That's the day I lost my anchors too. Lol

Im out there all the time in summer. When it is freshly stocked it is the best. By the end of summer I find the fishing quite slow. if only people would just release the fish they catch in a small pond like this.

I personally just catch and release and try not to end the life of fish when I have enough food at home and can go buy some already nearly flawlessly prepared instead that have already made. I wanna catch them when there bigger.
