My dad recently gave me his old ice auger. It's around 20 years old and I have no idea what kind it is. I'm guessing it's an Eskimo cause it's red and has a Tecumseh engine.

I'm having issues with the pull assembly. The tooth that catches the flywheel to crank the engine over is not catching. All attempts to fix it have failed.

Does anyone know where i can get a new pull assembly or if there are any compateable ones out there?

Cheers

Honky

Try Yemens, 1-800-665-8623 they carry the Eskimo replacement parts. Not sure on yours where it is in its advanced years.

Thanks. I pulled it apart and got it working for now. I'll see what some local shops say about fixing it. I'll keep your suggestions in mind.
