Has anyone tried Lake Abraham yet this year. Or any lakes west of Nordegg.

I'll take that as a NO,noone has any interest out there. I was just wandering because you always see 1 or 2 guys out at the end of the Cline if you drive by, and was just wandering if anyone had any hints on what to use in there.

I've flyfished a few times at the mouth of the cline, and allstones. I"ve caught numerous small bull trout and my buddy caught a decent rainbow.

Cool I think there is every type of trout in the lake itself. I know of guys that have caught decent lakers and bulls out of the lake, through the ice at the mouth of the cline. I,ve asked guys that have been fishing there and they say they always use big yellow jigs but it has never worked for me.

Use some form of a silvery minnow imitation. The monsters like to feed on whitefish around the mouth of the cline.

I have caught some pretty big bulls using clouser minnow imitations. Some guys use silver flat fish.

No: This was right at the mouth where there is open fast water going into pools.

That Cline river is feed pail for fish.

The fatty whitefish eat their insects, and the big guys wait for the whitefish.

Thats my theory for the Mouth of the Cline.
