Just had a ling up to a 10 inch hole and could not get him up fought him for a long time and lost him I was by my self wish I had a fishing partner to night as hard as tried could no get him up the hole

some people might put them down, but no one who's caught a really big one! The 6 pound 9 ouncer I got at Gull was a battle to get thru a double 8 inch hole, ended up shoving my hand in its gills to get it thru the ice, and it hit like a freight train too. This the same lake you get the little pike on? :evilgrin: should have given me a call Id help you land it.

The second post for 83 it takes me to long to post and yes it was lake D we did a 16 and 24 pound pike to day not a bad day for all b$$$ about how bad the fishing is in the south

Im finding they are biting, but you have to work for them, but thats not really a problem :) my kind of work. :D I dont mind 6 fish days when you know the 26 fish days are coming back soon

How big would that thing have to be to not go through a 10 Hole.(and before it starts, I realize bigger than 10 inches!:lol:) Weight wise though??
My six year old has concerns after he saw a 32" pike I brought home, thoughts about ling that size may keep him away from water for good :lol:
Sucks to lose it, but a good fight nonetheless .Cool

Ive seen a 32 pound Pike come through an 8" Man I've never even fished a 10" hole fish six inch for the first 20 years of my life.


Must have been beyond huge :eek:

x2 Either huge or the hook was getting snagged on the ice as you tried yankin him up. My personal best Burb is just over 8lbs and it came out of a 6". Get back out there and get him, I wanna see pics!
