When does the river at the forks typically open up? are many sauger caught in this area.

going to be a long time before the forks open up, theres a lot of ice on the river. I live 6 miles from the Bow I will let you know when I see water :D

The ice at the forks always goes out during the closed season. About 10 years ago it was open before it was closed for fishing,it was good fishing.
