is the entrance closed to the provincial side of pigeon. has anyone fished on this side of the lake

just watch for the pressure ridge it can get about 18 inches wide in spots and runs about 50 to 75 yards off the boat launch. it may have heaved by now i haven't been out there in 2 weeks.

a pressure ridge is a huge crack in the ice that makes the area around it unstable. it was frozen shut last time i was out.

There's a couple around the lake! Sandholm point has 1, but its frozen over & never had any problems last Thurs. There's also usually 1 on the way to the island from the mameo area but haven't been over there this year as of yet!!!

I was there on Sunday and had no problem getting on the lake; the only problems we had were catching fish! Skunked along with all other people we talked to around the PP area
