Ice Conditions on Travers

Was planning to head out on the ice tomorrow and was curious if its safe to drive on to Travers. This warm weather has me a little wary. Bringing the sleds just in case we end up walking on.

The ice is still really good, but that does'nt mean its always safe. I prefer to walk on when I can.

around 30 inches on Badger just up the road. everything from skidoos to Full size motorhomes on it today

thanks for the info, we'll still be drilling test holes, but good to know just the same.

well there was 18 inches of ice still but no fish ,for us anyways .

The ice was 18" -24" but it was starting to get slushy when I drilled a hole. My auger kept bogging out because it was grabbing to much soft ice.

Only 9-12 inches on south east side by the dam melting very fast. fished for 4 hours in 5- 20fow did'nt see one fish one the cam awsome day no wind but where are the fish
