It has been about 5 or 6 years since I fished around Edmonton, But the last time was at Eden lake in the winter. It's Approx 1/2 west and holds perch and rainbow just right size for the fry pan. I'm not sure on the reg's for that lake though i'm sure they change since i was there last.

In Sherwood Park you could give the Broadmoore (sp?) pond a go at the golfcourse, stocked with rainbows last time I was there. Beaumont pond also has rainbows and should be less than a 30 minute drive for you.

Hope it helps,

Ayr.

Doc forgot about the most secret honey hole 10 min drive within Edmonton,
the Hermitage Park the pond on the right off the parking lot.
I've been there last week in the evening and nice size fish were rising,
caught 2 small ones on a black dry fly. and Just when I decided to leave a rainbow I would say 14" jumped right in front of me, making a big splash and just like saying bye bye sucker.....

Hope this helps,

Cheers!
