Has anybody been out there lately. I've been in recovering from surgery so i havent been ice fishing. I'd like to get the auger wet at least a couple of times before this nice weather sets in.

Thanks in advance!

Was out this afternoon for the first time to PCR. Beautiful day, no wind. Fishing was slow to begin with but picked up later in the afternoon. 20 walleye and 6 burbs. Couple feet of ice with lots of water on top.

I was there Friday night from 7:00 - 10:00 pm, it was slow (5 burbs and 3 walleye). Ice was around 20 inches but you can not drive onto the ice because access to the boat launch was closed (don't know if it's just temporarily due to the hot weather last week).

Howlin,

stopped in today after Clear, no one on the ice I could see at the campground, so I dragged my gear down thru the MUD to the bridge. Ended up catching my record burb, thing must have been at least the size of a good garlic dill pickle!!!! almost dragged me thru the 12 inches of ice into the milk colored water. well worth the extra 20 minute drive for sure

We were there on Sunday. we fished from 1 to about 7 30, very slow day. we pulled up 3 eyes and 4 very small burbot, lost 4 or 5 on the tip ups, fished near the bridge, Ice is getting pretty bad, we were in 18 inches of ice but as you moved closer to the bridge there was about 4 to 6 inches of bad ice, they roped off the boat launc, but I saw some nut doing donuts later in the day by the boat launch.
