Incredible perch!

My buddy just got back from one of his secret spots, only to make us all drool over his fascinating fish. I personally have never even seen a perch of this size!

I think im going have to set up a tracking device to his truck or something!
By the way, the Bailey's is a 40 ouncer!

the biggest perch i've ever had bit on a perch colored rapala and was 15.2" from head to tip of tail. i had a few close to that size since but it was weird at the time.


then the waleye population came back and there aren't any perch there now:(

Those are some nice perch, Ive seen a few that size come through the hole, Im more impressed with the whitefish in the background.

Nice catch. Those look like N buck perch, but where did the whites come from? They would have to be in 16-17 inch range to be a record and the one pic shows one at 13" with a tape. Some big perch comming out of N. Buck right now if anyone is interested, east side of lake last I heard. Some good spots on south side too.

Nice perch but they do get bigger up North, 15-16 inches if you find them. Regardless, a lovely specimen and im sure she tasted great!

gees it seems longer than 13" when you have him laying next to that bottle...
was there more in 11 - 12" range or is this the only one ???
I had been hooking to smaller ones last weekend but then I changed my hook and a miracle happend, started hooking those bigger ones, fish were very shy last weekend for some reason, nothing like in the past 2 weekends..
