Heading to Isle in the morning to try again. Hit the lake Saturday and had poor luck cant seem to find the perch or gators. Any heads up or advice?

i hear you was out on sunday managed to get only two perchreal slow threw all the hooks i had at them no luck i was over at silversands were did you try?:confused:

Your right if I was after Bee's. If i wanted flies I would use poop.:rolleye2:

I plan on heading out to Isle lake tomorrow morning,

Going to be meeting a few others at the Kokomoko boat launch between 10:30 and 11am.

Anyone that has the day free is more than welcome to join!!!

Good luck tomorrow Anvil!! If you have trouble finding them hit Kim up for a couple spots I told her about. We were going to meet up last week but it did not happen as my little one was having a bad day.:wave:

Actually Kim will be there tomorrow. One of the people I am meeting up with out there.

For anyone else interested we are still meeting for 10:30 at kokomoko boat launch.

Kim, how did you guys make out? I was at the west end of the lake for about 6 hrs, all I got was a bit of colour on my arms and face, and bitten of by a couple of hammer handles. I did know anybody from here was going or I would have said hello.

PS. Can you imagine FiveO at christmas as a kid? "Santa bring me a new bike, hockey stick and a puppy, holy crap are you ever a fat pig! ":lol:

Got lots of small pike, Anvil got one pike about 70 cm and 8 perch i think. The perch have been biting there at about 6 pm for about 1/2 hour then wallies start to bite. I left at 4:30 LOL. We were at the south end by two islands. The perch are biting so lightly that you have to keep moving your hook to feel any wieght. I have pulled some 11 - 12 " out this year.

Caught and released a dozen Burbot this morning by Gainford. Simple too, jig and minnow.

Like I said not looking for bs looking for information. If You dont have any or want to share it fine but why comment if you dont know your butt from a hole in the ground?
