Does anyone know the difference between the regular marmish rod and the marmish max rod? The prices are different also.

doesnt say much about the difference, only that the more expensive one is the competion model, maybe it has racing stripes or something :D

This is neat! An upgraded Marmish model!

I am just looking now and it looks like the max model has an extra thread point (where you have to thread your line through before using), as well as the whole rod flexes a lot instead of just barely. Looks like a bit of a more sensitive indicator as well. I'm going to have to try it as I love the standard Marmish.

Thats where i got my original marmish rod.

never used them, I think it works much better than regular one with thin lines, 0,08 mm or 2 lb, for example
