Dad forgot the smelts!!! Now what do we do?

After driving halfway to lake X, realizing that the cooler full of pike bait was sitting by the front door we deviated up to Blood Indian to make the best of it. With the mininal trout gear I had in the ole tickle trunk the girls still each managed to catch a couple of keepers one nice eater and an absolute pig of a male, the biggest I've seen there for a handful of years. Holly holding the fish (cause she had the "fish mitts") and Natalie standing beside both ready to run as soon as the trout wiggled free. It was a good time. :lol:

The big one was 2.9lbs, 20" long 10.5" in girth.

dohHH!!! now thats what it's all about right there....... girls look happy and looks like you had a good day i used to go to the blood indian 2 or 3 times a year and don't be fooled there are some big one in there if you go to the store accross the street you will see pics there !! the blood in july like being in the desert .....lol
