Its that time of the year again. The fishing is picking up, the weather is warming up and the days are getting longer.
Its also time to remind everyone to take a garbage bag with you and pick up a little extra garbage that has been "accidentally" left behind by our brothers.
At most locations you don't even have to take it home as there are usually bins at or near the access points to the lakes.
Enjoy the spring!

Good post rooster. It's frightening what pigs some people are on the ice. We were out last week and one group had strewn fast food bags and wrappers everywhere, started a fire on the ice and burned a radiator in it, had actually crapped on the ice several times and there were pop cans and juice boxes everywhere. We cleaned it up as best we could but what do these people think happens to this stuff when the ice melts...ugh.

Im totally with you all on that one. I can't count all the birds I untangled from line on trees last year at ONE LAKE. Definatly gettin another big pocket in my vest for a garbage bag.

Great reminder - I found rolls of garbage bags (smaller than full size) that take up less room in the pack or pocket than a spool of fishing line.
Mind boggling what you find out there...
