I think Morph is trying to pull one over everyones head, as he was calling out other people saying their fish were photoshop specials. Looking at the shadow top right of the fish looks like it was added in later... If it is real congrates. But anything you put up I am pessimistic of as you claim to be an amazing photoshop wizard...

If it is the real deal, how much did it weigh!

You spend way too much time in front of the computer man. Thats why you'll likely never get a chance to see the real thing. Weren't you just saying the other day that you've been editing photos for 19 years? Isn't even a good photoshop job for someone that does that for a living. Any picture you ever post on here will be suspect in my eyes.

you chop someone elses catch then you spend all day photoshoping a perch? If you wanna prove a point be honest about it. show the original and fake and explain how it can be done.

If the guy who posted his 14" perch faked the pic like you suggested he is better at photoshop as his pics look better.

spopadyn
03-10-2010, 08:55 AM
Morph - why r u doing this? It is a fake. look at the shadow - even though there are curves the shadow is exactly uniform and runs parrallel. Morph is trying to teach us all a leason in how great he is at photoshop and why we shouldn't believe all the pictures that are being posted.

Fair enough - but now you 2 can't be trusted. Feels like an old episode of XFILES - trust no one!

Even if it is photoshopped . . . why does anyone care? Seriously, does it matter? If it does, why does it matter to you? I assure you that the size of your fish (or the fish you catch) is not a representation of . . . well . . . umm . . . other things . . . .

Good grief. Photos are picked apart. They're called forgeries. Backgrounds and the surrounding areas are dissected. Any little thing that could be considered "off" is pointed out. Conclusions are drawn. Accusations are fired off. Video is "set-up."

Some of them may be fake. Some of them may not be.

What does the sign about the door at CrossIron Mills Bass Pro say? It says (something to the effect of) "Welcome Hunters, Fisherman, and Other Liars."

You're worse than a bunch of gossipy, cliquey, teenaged girls sometimes.

DarkAisling

all of the bickering stems from this thread yesterday:

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/showthread.php?t=54233

Morph is just trying to show us what can be done with photoshop.

I disagree hockey1099...If Morph was trying to show us what could be done with photoshop he would have shown us the original pic and how he modified it. Instead, he's just demonstrating how much of an ass he is and I must say, he's doing a great job. Bravo Morph...Bravo

Notice how the middle of the tape isn't showing. It is hidden by the knife & humpback. Total BS picture.

no sweat mate,
one day I'll tell you all about the lake X with Mega Gigalions  swimming gracefully in large schools  ...

Tomorrow we will be heading out for an expedition to lake Y it holds Gigalions twice the size and they're known to attack humans and animals so we must be extremly careful as any noise on ice may trigger them to break through 20 " ice snapping the heads right off, lake Y is only for hardcore anglers,
I'll bring some new pics tomorrow if I come back alive.....:lol:

http://www.outdoorsmenforum.ca/attachment.php?attachmentid=20400&d=1268267388

100% real..., the only trick used in this image is the guy holding the fish away from his body , things that are closer to the camera appear larger than things behind the target object... even 1ft distance will yeild a big visual difference...

There are images that are hard to distinguish wheather real or fake,
but some of them are quite simple to tell.. you just gotta look for lots of details in the right places... but this day and age ... look at the movie Avatar..., pretty soon there will be no real actors and no real worlds/environments , in future everything that you'll see on TV and electronic media will be artificial...

I'm guessing the same applies to your perch picture? Lift it off the newspaper, closer to the camera and everything else behind it becomes smaller. Do I get a cupie doll?
