is the river ice off yet?from tolman to drum .i havent seen the regs yet but id like to head up there,and im wondering if is open (ice and legal)thanks

The river is mostly ice free from Dickson downstream so I'd imagine it's pretty clear below Tolman too. It's closed April 1 to May 14.

what are you planning to catch? Burbot? walleye?

whatever i can ,been skunked so much.:lol:id like to target goldies and smoke them,but anything that grabs my line will do.i didnt even know there was burbs in there .cool tip,thanks

The river in town is still frozen solid! Usually doesnt break up till first week in April. Even if it was open its still illegal to fish the river here till mid may.

from the Tolman Bridge (Sec. Rd. 585) downstream to the Alberta/Saskatchewan border
May 21 to Mar. 31 – Walleye and Sauger limit 3; Walleye over 50 cm; Pike limit 3 over 63 cm; Burbot limit 10; Goldeye limit 10; Lake Sturgeon limit 0; Bait allowed.
Apr. 1 to May 20 – CLOSED

i like fishing tolman and morin could you let me know how the ice is might make a trip before April 1

Walked the turd hound this a.m along the river by Drum,and yes ,she's still solid :wave:
