Was at Coal this morning, we moved four times up and down the northeast side. We got 5 hammer handles. Seemed like everyone else was slow as well compared the the 20+ fish days we were having last weeknd. Ice is still excellent probably still good for another week of driving. Just double check before you go on later in the week.

We were out yesterday and it was relatively slow compared to usual. Except on the camera and what we where catching we noticed that they werent at there usual depths. Majority still at the bottom (1 to 1.5 feet off) but saw and caught a couple higher up than the usual. Hopefully this helps ur pike hunt:lol:

We went out to Blood Indian Resevoir and landed 2 nice fish 1 around 15" the other around 13" It was very windy I had to tie my 2 man collapsable to my truck or it would have blown away. We also missed a few good bites as well and lost another small fish at the top of the hole.

Badger was fair. 5 on the ice, biggest 10 lbs. Lost some good ones, missed some good ones. Windy as hell. Had to walk on. Sun came out and wind calmed down at 5 PM :tongue2:

I'm thinking in the north of the province the weather shift slowed things down a bit.

Went up to Snipe lake and caught the limit of whitefish. Also caught a few pike (to 8lbs), burbs, and perch. Beautiful day to be out in the sunshine, but quite a drive from Edmonton!

Good fishin'

Fished all day yesterday at Isel Lake without a bite! Fished at both Silver Sands and Gainford. Probably punched close to 40 holes with my hand auger all over the lake. A bit dissapointing....
