Finicky Brookies

I was fishing yesterday and seen lots of nice brookies,we threw everything at them but no luck any tips on how to get them to bite.:confused:

try a water beetle or small nymph:)

Thanks i did try a small bead head nymph but just swam by, didn't even look.

Funny time of year as they are starting to think about spring hatches vs winter grub I find.
